Your resident wandered
at 2 AM.
Can you prove your team responded?
Wandering is never just about elopement. It reveals everything at once — detection speed, staff coordination, escalation, and documentation. Rientro gives your team real-time awareness, intelligent escalation, and a complete incident record.
THE PROBLEM IS NOT WANDERING
Wandering is the moment when every weakness in care infrastructure becomes visible at once.
A delayed response.
A missed alert during shift change.
Fragmented communication.
No clear escalation path.
No documented timeline after the fact.
The real risk is rarely the first step out the door. The real risk is everything that happens after. Rientro was built to correct that infrastructure gap.

THE RIENTRO INFRASTRUCTURE
Not a product. Infrastructure.
Rientro connects four layers into one continuous system — so when wandering begins, your response begins immediately.
No gaps. No guesswork. No fragmented communication.
HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS
Three layers. One continuous response.
RESIDENTS WEAR A SMARTWATCH
Families provide a cellular Apple Watch or Galaxy Watch. No proprietary hardware. No device inventory to manage. The watch they already own becomes a safety system.
STAFF MONITOR THE COMMAND CENTER
Your team sees resident status, alert levels, and escalation timelines in real time — from any browser at the nurses' station. Role-based access: Admin, Nurse, Aide, Viewer.
RIENTRO DETECTS AND ESCALATES
Movement patterns matter. Exit-seeking behavior escalates differently from pacing or disorientation. If no one responds within 15 minutes, escalation continues automatically — including EMS dispatch.

WHEN AN INCIDENT HAPPENS
Everything is recorded. Automatically.
Surveyors, families, and attorneys ask the same question:
"What happened — and how did your team respond?"
RIENTRO CREATES THE ANSWER:
Every action. Every timestamp. Fully exportable.

Visibility that builds trust.
The family's role does not end when a loved one enters a facility. Rientro gives families visibility through the same monitoring system your staff uses.
This reduces confusion, complaints, and anxiety — while strengthening trust in your facility.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What hardware do we need?
None. Each resident's family provides a cellular Apple Watch or Samsung Galaxy Watch. Your staff uses the web dashboard from any computer at the nurses' station.
What if a family doesn't have a smartwatch?
We can advise on the most cost-effective options. A refurbished cellular Apple Watch SE starts around $180. Many families already own one or are happy to purchase one for their loved one’s safety.
How does billing work?
Your facility pays a monthly platform fee (invoiced). Each family pays their own $49.99/mo subscription through the App Store or Play Store. You never handle individual family billing.
Do you require a long-term contract?
No. Month-to-month. Cancel anytime. We also offer annual agreements at a reduced rate for facilities that prefer budget predictability.
Is the data HIPAA compliant?
Rientro uses Supabase (SOC 2 Type II certified) with row-level security. Location and health data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We are pursuing a formal BAA for enterprise customers.
Can families see other residents' data?
No. Each family only sees their own family member. Staff see all residents in their organization based on their role (admin sees everything, viewer sees status only).
What happens if the watch battery dies?
The system detects low battery and alerts staff before it reaches critical. If signal is lost for 120 seconds, a dead-air protocol triggers automatically.
Can we do a trial with a few residents first?
Absolutely. Most facilities start with 3–5 residents and expand after seeing the first month's results.
